This full-time role emphasizes training, coaching, and ensuring high-quality patient care, with opportunities for education programs and career progression within a Magnet Recognized hospital.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
2 years of progressive nursing experience in the designated specialty; 3 months as a preceptor.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Virginia RN licensure or eligibility.

Aufgaben

Develop expertise in training, coaching and mentoring staff to promote high-quality nursing care.
Orient, educate and develop nursing staff to ensure competence and responsibility fulfillment.
Provide support to novice and advanced nurses and preceptors for smooth transition into practice.
Integrate knowledge and skills to meet clinical and social needs of team members.
Design, deliver and evaluate educational programs to promote clinical development and career progression.
