Job summary
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available.
The role focuses on delivering direct and indirect patient care, performing assessments, and coordinating care across disciplines in a fast-paced OR environment. Qualified candidates will be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current Texas nursing license and BLS/ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire; at least 2
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current TX Nursing License.
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating room, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers indirect and direct patient care according to established standards.
- Performs patient assessment and reassessment with documentation.
- Takes emergency call as assigned.
- Coordinates care across settings and disciplines.
- Maintains sterile technique and ensures patient safety throughout procedures.
- Documents all records according to policies and procedures.
- Acts as patient advocate for physical and psychological needs.
