Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room as an OR Circulator. Mid-Shift 8:30 am - 7:00 pm with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Join a joint-venture environment focused on excellence in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine and General Surgery.

Our facility features seven operating rooms and comprehensive patient care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current TX Nursing License.
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
Minimum of 2 years' OR experience.

Responsibilities

Delivers indirect and direct patient care according to standards, considering age and risk.
Performs patient assessments and reassessments with documentation for care planning.
Takes emergency call as assigned.
Coordinates care across settings and disciplines.
Maintains sterile technique and safe nursing practices.
Documents records per policies and procedures.
Acts as patient advocate and communicates status on transfer.
