Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery in Tennessee is seeking an Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to join our clinical team. The OR RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in the operating room, adhering to nursing standards and hospital policies.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved nursing program, currently licensed in the state, CPR and Advanced Life Support certified, and have at least 1 year of intra-operative experience.

Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) at Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery
The Operating Room RN will assess, plans, implement, and evaluate care of patients in operating room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Hospital. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by OR Director, or Board Runner, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.
