The NP will practice within licensure requirements, coordinate perioperative care, and serve as a team leader during stress and crisis, ensuring top-quality patient outcomes.

Qualificações

• Must have a Graduate of an accredited program with a C.N.P. Degree.
• Current License as an N.P. in the State of Tennessee.
• BLS and ACLS Required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical care within the scope of licensure, training and credentialing.
• Practice according to the current standards of care and Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality orthopedic or spine care.
• Lead and coordinate care for surgical patients during shifts.

Nurse Practitioner at Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery

The Nurse Practitioner has the responsibility to practice medicine within the scope of licensure, training and credentialing according to the current standards of care, Medicare guidelines, Joint Commission standards, state law and quality criteria adopted by the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program with a C.N.P. Degree
• Current License as an N.P. in the State of Tennessee
• BLS, ACLS Required
• Orthopedic or Neurosurgeon required
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Broad understanding of the needs of the surgical patient.
• Flexible, reliable, productive, patient oriented, self-motivated.
• Remains calm and functions as a team leader during times of stress and crisis situations.
