Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a dedicated OR staff coordinator for Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. This full-time Days position supports the operating room by coordinating staff scheduling and training to ensure optimal patient care.

You will help ensure compliance with regulatory standards, participate in quality initiatives and act as a resource for staff and external contacts while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staff scheduling and training activities.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of quality assurance and/or improvement initiatives.
• Serves as resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
