Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN, seeks an Operating Room General RN for a full-time daytime role. You will work in a high-stakes surgical suite, acting as a patient advocate and coordinating sterile field safety and OR operations.

The ideal candidate holds Tennessee RN licensure (or compact multi-state license) with BLS and ALS certifications, and a Diploma in Nursing. Prior circulator experience is preferred. Ascension offers comprehensive benefits and professional development.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or an active multi-state license (Compact State).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Advocate & Care Strategist: you are the patient's primary voice during their most vulnerable moments, monitoring, recording and communicating their condition with clinical precision.
