Qualifications

• RN with current license in NJ or PA.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience in a unit specialty.
• Evidence of successful completion of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Develops, evaluates and adjusts staffing based on patient care needs.
• Assigns patient care responsibilities with the unit team.
• Maintains departmental records for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Facilitates staff education activities (orientation, competency, in-servicing).
• Participates in hiring and counseling staff.
• Conducts customer service activities and handles complaints.
• Manages daily unit operations within budget parameters.
• Performs systematic assessments of assigned patients and plans care.
• Implements, evaluates and documents patient care interventions.
• Supports unit-based performance improvement and committees.
