Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network seeks a Clinical Coordinator in nursing to cover assignments, rooms and charge roles across the unit. The nurse will participate in daily operations, staffing and patient care coordination to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires NJ/PA RN licensure, 2–5 years nursing experience, BLS certification, and the ability to respond to call coverage and unit-based performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license to practice in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, depending on work location.
• 2–5 years of nursing experience in a unit specialty preferred.
• Evidence of successful completion of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, directs and evaluates daily operations on the unit.
• Develops, evaluates and adjusts staffing based on patient care needs.
• Assigns patient care responsibilities with the unit-based team.
• Maintains departmental records for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Facilitates staff education activities and competency reviews.
• Participates in hiring and counseling staff.
• Handles customer service activities and patient/staff complaints.
• Manages daily unit operations within budget parameters.
