Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Charge Nurse RN to oversee day-to-day operations of the surgery center, including scheduling, staff management, inventory control, HR tasks, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include monitoring flow, coordinating with admin, managing QA programs, and ensuring policy adherence. Relevant nursing certification and OR experience are a plus; the role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Current State RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG/arrhythmia identification.
• ASPAN membership preferred.
• Pharmacy, pre-op/recovery and some OR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preceptor for front office operations.
• Monitor day-to-day internal flow and staffing.
• Backup Circulator, Pre-op, PACU.
• Maintain adherence to policy/procedures manuals.
• IV insertions and daily staffing oversight.
• Weekly meetings with administration/managers.
• QA/compliance and risk management support.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Manage life safety, pharmacy and radiology inspections.
