Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Charge Nurse in the Operating Room to delegate and coordinate patient assignments, working with team leads to boost throughput and service quality. You will ensure CMS/TJC compliance and patient safety while coordinating with anesthesia, PACU, ASU and SPD to optimize surgical flow.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, GA RN license, and has 4+ years of direct RN care including charge roles; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (BSN) or equivalent education and experience.
• RN License in State of Georgia (GA).
• BSN preferred; ASN with charge experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and coordinate patient assignments in the OR.
• Collaborate with team leads to improve throughput, quality, and service.
• Ensure CMS and TJC regulatory compliance and patient safety.
• Communicate with anesthesia, PACU, ASU, SPD to ensure smooth surgical flow.
