Job summary

• Six (6) months–One (1) year continuous experience as CST/CFA/CSA.
• Proficient organizational skills and computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• High degree of competency/experience in general.
• Requires good communication and organizational skills.
• Requires reasoning ability and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in daily practice.
• Assists fellow Certified First Assistants and Surgical Technologists.
• Determines equipment needs per procedure and prepares supplies.
• Ensures sterile field integrity and provides tissue retraction for visualization.
• Assists with patient positioning and anesthesia-related tasks as directed by surgeon.
• Participates in on-call coverage and timely patient handoffs.
