Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required.
• BSN or higher from an accredited program.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• ANCC certification or eligibility within 6 months.
• Two years of experience in a relevant clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and unit activities on an assigned shift.
• Coordinate daily staff assignments and staffing to ensure smooth operations.
• Direct nursing service of the unit and implement patient care plans.
• Support quality and safety initiatives within the unit.
• Identify and address clinical practice issues and participate in problem-solving.
• Act as Charge Nurse as assigned and guide staff in policy and procedures.
