LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an RN Manager, Perioperative Services for evening shifts to oversee the OR, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments. The ideal candidate holds an Illinois RN license, BLS, national certification, and a BSN, with leadership experience in perioperative settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with Illinois licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• National Nursing Certification within 3 years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Pref: 3+ years perioperative nursing and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination, and supervision of the OR, Pre-Op, PACU and Sterile Processing during evening shifts.
• Manage staff utilization, budgeting, and process improvements for throughput and workflows.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (DNV, OSHA, AORN).
• Develop physician relationships and support departmental operations, including equipment management and survey readiness.
• Lead staff development, performance appraisals, recruitment, and foster a positive work environment.
• Monitor quality metrics and patient/staff satisfaction; implement improvement plans.
• Ensure department policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
• Participate in budget management and represent the department in meetings.

The RN Manager, Perioperative Services – Evenings oversees the planning, coordination, and supervision of the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, and Sterile Processing departments during evening shifts.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing staff utilization, budgeting, and process improvements to ensure efficient patient throughput and staff workflows.
• Supervising clinical care and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., DNV, OSHA, AORN).
• Developing physician relationships and supporting departmental operations, including equipment management and survey readiness.
• Leading staff development, performance appraisals, recruitment, and fostering a positive work environment.
