Stronghold Vegetation Management in Rosharon, Texas, seeks an Operating Foreman for a zero-turn mowing crew. This working leadership role involves mowing, setting pace, and managing crew performance, quality, and safety on each route.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of commercial mowing experience, leadership ability, and a solid grasp of mowing patterns. Valid driver’s license preferred; bilingual skills are a plus. Training and advancement opportunities are provided inline with SOPs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years commercial mowing experience (zero-turn required).
• Proven experience leading or training others.
• Strong understanding of mowing patterns, trimming, and edging.
• Valid driver’s license (chauffeur or DOT a plus).
• Reliable, punctual, and coachable.
• Spanish/English bilingual is a plus (not required).

Operating Foreman - Zero Turn Mowing Crew

Location: Rosharon, Texas
Company: Stronghold Vegetation Management
Pay: Salary starting at $52,000 year + performance incentives
Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round

We're hiring an Operating Foreman to lead a zero-turn mowing crew with speed, pride, and accountability. This is a working leadership role - you'll be on the mower, setting the pace, while managing quality, safety, and crew performance.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Daily Operations

• Run a zero-turn mowing route efficiently and profitably
• Lead a 2-3 person crew with clear expectations and standards
• Ensure properties meet company quality specs every visit
• Load/unload equipment and maintain a clean, organized truck

Leadership & Accountability

• Set the tone for pace, professionalism, and safety
• Train crew members on mowing patterns, trimming, and blowing standards
• Hold crew accountable for attendance, performance, and attitude
• Communicate issues, delays, or site conditions to management

Equipment & Safety

• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Identify and report mechanical issues before breakdowns
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols

What Success Looks Like (KPIs)

• Route completion on time, every day
• Zero preventable damage claims
• Consistent quality scores on inspections
• Crew retention and performance improvement

Requirements
