Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking an Operating Engineer for a premier commercial real estate and life sciences facilities organization in St. Louis, MO. The role supports building operations, tenant services, and preventive maintenance programs within a Class A facility.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of related maintenance experience and EPA/CFC certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year). Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

5–10 years in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or related experience.
Commercial/industrial, life sciences, laboratory, or medical office experience preferred.
EPA/CFC Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
Complete tenant service requests and update work orders in CMMS.
Support and implement preventative maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.
