Manpower, Inc. is seeking an Operating Engineer for a premier commercial real estate and life sciences facilities organization in St. Louis, MO. The role supports building operations, tenant services, and preventive maintenance programs within a Class A facility.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of related maintenance experience and EPA/CFC certification (or willingness to obtain within the first year). Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or related experience.
• Commercial/industrial, life sciences, laboratory, or medical office experience preferred.
• EPA/CFC Certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
• Complete tenant service requests and update work orders in CMMS.
• Support and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot building systems including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies.

As an Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting building operations and tenant services. • Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
• Complete tenant service requests and maintain work orders through the CMMS system.
• Support and implement preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot building systems, including electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations as needed.
