Job summary

Red Hat Services is seeking an OpenShift Architect to design and deliver strategic solutions through technical leadership, hands-on implementation, and enablement of best practices. You will promote Red Hat technologies, lead discovery sessions, and guide projects from scoping to delivery to meet enterprise goals.

You will mentor teams, lead workshops, and collaborate across stakeholders to ensure successful customer outcomes. Willingness to travel to client sites weekly is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a solution architect, enterprise architect, or technical consultant.
• Proven track record of architectural designs and leading implementations.
• Ability to oversee project delivery, timelines, and scopes.
• Experience collaborating across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring and coaching team members.
• Experience leading workshops, enablement, or engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or technical discipline.
• Experience leading modern cloud platform consulting engagements.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes/containers.
• Experience with Linux system administration (RHEL or derivative).
• Experience with Identity Management technologies (e.g., Red Hat IDM, Microsoft AD).

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in building scalable, adaptable solutions using Red Hat technologies.
• Lead services discovery sessions and educate customers on best practices.
• Scope projects, align with customer requirements, and manage task lists.
• Provide technical expertise during presales activities.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for collaboration and success.
• Articulate the value of the Red Hat Services Portfolio and integrate services into solutions.
• Provide customer feedback to improve products and services.
• Lead internal initiatives to foster innovation and growth.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new skills and technologies.
• Travel to client locations up to weekly as needed.
