Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
• 5+ years of platform/systems engineering with hands-on Kubernetes-based container platform experience
• US Citizenship required
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification
• Hands-on OpenShift on bare metal
• IaC proficiency with Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with Spectro Cloud or equivalent virtualization platform
• Experience with GitOps workflows like ArgoCD or Flux
• Ability to document architecture, licensing tradeoffs, and operations

Responsibilities

• Stand up and operate bare-metal OpenShift clusters
• Design IaC provisioning using Terraform and Ansible
• Support feasibility assessment OpenShift vs Spectro Cloud
• Manage OpenShift lifecycle: install, upgrades, patching, scaling
• Deploy core platform services (DNS like PowerDNS)
• Implement STIGs and cybersecurity controls
• Monitor health, performance, and logging
• Support OCONUS hardware bootstrap activities
• Document architecture and procedures
• Transition provisioning to fully IaC-managed models
