Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood Village in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Dietary Services to oversee daily meal production, ensure safety and quality, and support a compassionate dining program for residents.

In this role you will supervise dietary staff, assist with meal counts, maintain sanitation and documentation, and collaborate with the Dining Manager to coordinate operations on AM/PM shifts. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in healthcare dining, food service, or kitchen operations.
• Experience with healthcare food-service standards and documentation preferred.
• Proficient with computers and facility reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, organization, and teamwork abilities.

Shift Supervisor - Dietary Services (AM/PM)Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Shift Supervisor - Dietary Services, at Aventura at Oakwood Village in Springfield, Ohio where your leadership helps enhance residents' health, safety, and quality of life. We are seeking an organized, reliable, and service-focused team member to oversee daily dietary operations and ensure safe, high-quality, compliant meal service.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily meal production, plating, and service for quality and consistency.
• Direct, support, train, and coach dietary staff during the assigned shift.
• Assist with meal counts, production adjustments, workflow, and food storage.
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, cleaning, labeling, temperature, and storage standards.
• Assist with CMS-related documentation, required logs, audits, and compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate records and use facility computer systems for reporting.
• Communicate effectively with the Dining Manager, staff, residents, families, and other departments.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and other dietary operations as assigned.
• Help ensure the kitchen and dining areas remain clean, organized, and inspection-ready.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of healthcare dining, food service, or kitchen operations experience preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare food-service standards and documentation preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and facility systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
