Job summary

Aventura at Oakwood Village in Springfield, Ohio is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Dietary Services to oversee daily meal production, ensure safety and quality, and support a compassionate dining program for residents.

In this role you will supervise dietary staff, assist with meal counts, maintain sanitation and documentation, and collaborate with the Dining Manager to coordinate operations on AM/PM shifts. Weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in healthcare dining, food service, or kitchen operations.
• Experience with healthcare food-service standards and documentation preferred.
• Proficient with computers and facility reporting systems.
• Strong leadership, organization, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily meal production, plating, and service for quality and consistency.
• Direct, support, train, and coach dietary staff during the shift.
• Assist with meal counts, production adjustments, workflow, and storage.
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, labeling, temperature, and storage standards.
• Ensure CMS-related logs, audits, and compliance activities are documented.
