Job summary

Shaner Hotels is opening a Hampton Inn by Hilton in downtown Columbia, Pennsylvania, and seeks a Room Inspector/Inspectress to join the opening team. You will ensure guest room quality, supervise housekeeping tasks, and uphold brand standards from day one.

As part of the opening team, you will coordinate with attendants and supervisors, help establish routines, and contribute to delivering a memorable guest experience in a historic locale near the Susquehanna River.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with guests, management, and coworkers to ensure understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and inspect the performance of assigned Guest Room Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
