Shaner Hotels is opening a new Hampton Inn by Hilton in downtown Columbia, PA. Join the opening team to help bring this 80-room property to life and deliver memorable guest experiences from day one.

As a Laundry Attendant, you will operate laundry/dry cleaning machinery, press and finish garments, restock closets, and support housekeeping with linen services while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of laundry/dry cleaning equipment and chemical handling.
• Knowledge of finishing techniques for all types of fabrics.

Responsibilities

• Process all bed linens, terry, and table linens by operating laundry/dry cleaning machinery in accordance with hotel standards.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cooperates with Managers and Supervisors to complete any requests.
• Uses correct cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment as per hotel policies.
