BAE Systems is seeking a Mid-level Librarian (Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst) to support our government customer at Reston, VA and Patrick Space Force Base, FL. This Analyst will be working in a classified environment and will conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private and US and Foreign Governments open-source materials and conduct collection and exploitation of Publicly Available Information (PAI) via use of OSINT tools.

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Independently employ tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) when conducting PAI collection in order to mitigate operational risks: and interprets and adheres to laws and policies governing the collection and use of PAI.
  • Independently identify sources of PAI of potential intelligence value, to include resources which offer data for purchase, in order to satisfy a given intelligence requirement.
  • Independently develop OSINT collection plans in order to satisfy a given intelligence requirement.
  • Evaluate and vet sources of PAI information.
  • Identify collection gaps and methods of collection, to include coordinating within the IC.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related intelligence area with 8+ years of experience in intelligence related field with OSINT experience within the last 2 years, or a 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience utilizing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) OSINT tools which include but are not limited to the Berber Hunter Tool Kit applications (e.g., SILO, SCRAAWL, Data Miner, and Babel).
  • Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Prior military or government analytical experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (e.g., U.S. Army OBC, OS301/OS302, CASO, defense or IC equivalent (DIA BOTC, FBI OS101).
  • Experience conducting intelligence analytical support for the IC/DoD

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75570 - $128480

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
