Job summary

Prime Intellect, Inc. is building open frontier AI infrastructure and open-source components for post-training at frontier scale.

As an Applied Research Engineer, you will own the path from research artifact to public release, collaborating with engineering and research teams to shape core parts of the training platform. You will work with external researchers and contributors, create reusable interfaces, and ship research artifacts into the stack.

Qualifications

• Ownership of open-source ML or developer-tool systems, or research engineering experience.
• Ability to build artifacts that researchers and engineers can run, inspect, and extend.
• Experience turning research workflows into reusable, production-ready components.

Responsibilities

• Own the path from emerging research artifact to open-source and product experience.
• Collaborate deeply with engineering to shape researcher-facing features in the training platform.
• Define stable interfaces and expose abstractions via APIs, examples, and reference implementations.
• Engage with external researchers and contributors to ship impactful research into the stack.
