Job summary

Radford University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Open-Rank Faculty position in the School of Social Work for a nine-month assignment beginning August 2027. Primary responsibilities include teaching in BSW and MSW programs at Radford and Roanoke options (online/evenings), advising, recruitment and university service.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in social work or related field or a DSW, and an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• ABD candidates whose degree completion is within nine months of the hire date will be considered but will be hired at the rank of Instructor.
• Experience with distance education and teaching clinical social work practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the BSW and MSW programs at Radford and Roanoke social work program options (including online and evenings).
• Advise students and recruit for programs; contribute to university service and professional activities.
