Qualifications

• Significant progress toward the doctorate with a plan for completion may be considered.
• Recent clinical experience in field of expertise.
• Experience in education at the university level preferred.
• Hold a current Virginia RN license without disciplinary action.
• At least five years of direct client care experience prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the undergraduate nursing curriculum.
• Teach and evaluate courses; provide evidence of education and experience.
• Advise students and assist with progression, retention, and graduation policies.
• Participate in academic advisement and counseling.
• Document program actions through evaluation and reporting.
