Radford University invites applications for the position of Special Purpose Faculty or Tenure-Track Open-Rank Professor in the School of Social Work. The nine-month role begins in August 2027 and involves teaching across BSW/MSW programs in Radford and Roanoke, including online and evening formats.

Candidates may hold a CSWE-accredited MSW with licensure (LCSW) and university teaching experience; for tenure-track, a Ph.D. or DSW is required, with ABD considered for Instructor rank.

Qualifications

• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, with direct practice experience and LCSW licensure.
• Ph.D. in social work or related field or a DSW; ABD candidates considered but will be hired at the rank of Instructor.
• Experience teaching at the university level or providing professional trainings.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses in the BSW and MSW programs in Radford and Roanoke (including online and evenings).
• Advise, recruit, university service, and professional contributions.
