Qualifications

• Master's degree in a field related to physician assistant practice or PA education.
• Currently certified by the NCCPA.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience.
• Experience in PA education (lecturer, preceptor, or core PA faculty).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications (e.g., word processing, email, spreadsheets, databases).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and revise the program's mission, goals, and competencies.
• Serve on admissions committee and select applicants.
• Coordinate, teach, and instruct courses based on content areas and clinical expertise.
• Provide development, maintenance, and evaluation of didactic courses and clinical rotations.
• Facilitate small group discussions; participate in simulation and labs.
• Monitor and document student performance to ensure course completion.
• Assist in remediation plans for students in didactic and clinical years.
• Advise and mentor students; support retention and progression.
• Design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the curriculum.
• Participate in clinical site development and monitoring.
• Support continuous quality improvement using program data.
• Engage in program administration and related duties.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by the PA Program Director.
