Northeastern University seeks an Open Rank Clinical Professor to serve as a Principal Faculty Member in the Physician Assistant Program on our Seattle campus. The role focuses on didactic teaching, curriculum quality, program administration, and student mentorship while contributing to PA education and clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree related to PA practice or PA education.
• Current NCCPA certification and WA licensure eligibility.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience as a clinician.
• Experience in PA education (lecturer, preceptor, or core faculty).
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and revise the program's mission, goals, and competencies.
• Serve on admissions; participate in selecting applicants.
• Coordinate, teach, and instruct courses by content and clinical expertise.
• Provide ongoing development and evaluation of didactic and clinical sites.
• Facilitate small group sessions, simulations, and skills labs.
• Monitor student performance and remediation plans as needed.
• Advise and mentor students; support retention and progression.
• Design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the curriculum.
• Participate in clinical site development and monitoring.
