• PhD or OD/PhD from an accredited institution.
• Eligibility for optometry licensure in North Carolina if OD is held.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, or supervise at the doctoral/professional level.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to excellence and to serving a diverse student population.

Responsabilidades

• Teach in classroom, laboratory, and possibly clinical settings; develop and assess courses.
• Supervise and mentor optometry students.
• Engage in scholarly activity aligned with rank and participate in service.
• Support accreditation efforts and professional/academic governance.
• Represent the College in professional and community settings; model professionalism.
