Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an Open Market Project Manager for the West Region to lead outages, parts, and repair projects for large steam turbine customers. You will collaborate with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to plan, schedule, and execute outages while applying technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong project management skills.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of combined PM and field service experience in the power generation sector,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of project management and field service experience in the power generation industry.
• Proven ability to deliver complex, high-value projects for multiple customers while managing competing priorities.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management with senior leadership.
• Knowledge of rotating power generation equipment and plant operations; willingness to obtain IMPA certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle execution of outage, parts, and repair projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, resources, and scope to meet objectives.
• Own project financials: budgeting, forecasting, cost control, invoicing, and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks; proactively resolve issues affecting schedule, scope, quality, or budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, field personnel, and vendor partners to ensure safe, efficient execution.
