• Knowledge of rotating power generation equipment and power plant operations; able to apply technical expertise to solve customer challenges.
• Willingness to obtain IMPA certification within 18 months of prerequisites.

As the Open Market Project Manager for the West Region, you will lead parts, repairs, and outage projects for large steam turbine customers while serving as a trusted advisor on operational and maintenance solutions. This role requires a self-motivated project leader with power generation experience who can collaborate with customers, field teams, and internal stakeholders to successfully plan, schedule, and execute outages. The successful candidate will apply technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong project management skills to solve complex plant challenges, ensure safe operations, and support Siemens Energy’s mission of improving efficiency and advancing decarbonization across the energy industry.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related professional experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.
• 5+ years of combined project management and field service experience within the power generation industry.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver complex, high-value projects for multiple customers while managing competing priorities.
• Strong customer-facing experience with excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior leadership.
• Knowledge of rotating power generation equipment and power plant operations, with the ability to apply technical expertise to solve customer challenges.

For positions based in the United States, the base salary range is $106,100 to $151,600 annually.
