Siemens Energy seeks a Project Development Manager to lead sales development for large modernization, upgrade, and capital equipment projects in the industrial steam turbine sector. You will identify opportunities, engage key decision-makers, and drive the full sales process from opportunity to project handoff.

The role blends technical acumen with business judgment and relationship-building, serving global teams across travel-heavy assignments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
8+ years of experience in rotating equipment, industrial equipment sales, business development, or capital projects.
Strong experience with industrial steam turbines and understanding of customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of strategies to identify, qualify, and win large turbine modernization and upgrade projects.
Develop compelling value propositions and business cases to address customer needs and company growth.
Manage the sales pipeline, including forecasting and reporting with forecast accuracy.
Build and strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement and market insights.
Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and project teams to ensure seamless project handoff.
Achieve sales, bookings, and revenue targets while adhering to company policies.
