Job summary

Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill in Troy, MI is seeking a Line Cook to join our open kitchen team. You will contribute to high-quality presentations and fast-paced service in a scratch kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with expo and management, ensuring proper food temperatures, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation. Flexibility with shifts and a positive team attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 yr. previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens required.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage ticket orders for proteins and ensure proper food temps.
• Open duties and closing cleaning duties; maintain a clean station.
• Coordinate with expo and management to meet high presentation standards.
