Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to support perioperative teams. You will prepare instruments, set up sterile fields, scrub and assist the surgeon, and help ensure cases run efficiently across a range of procedures.

Qualifications include an Associate’s or Certificate in Surgical Technology and BLS within 3 months; 1+ year experience preferred. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for this full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months (AHA).
• Education: Associate’s degree or Certificate in Surgical Technology.
• Work experience: 1+ years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for operative/invasive procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Ensure instruments and supplies are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub prior to induction.
• Assist surgeon and participate in case setup and turnover.
• Collaborate with surgical team to anticipate needs and adapt.
