Qualifications

• Experience with grilling steaks and premium proteins.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate.
• Culinary school diploma preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Braise and grill meat and vegetables with a high degree of skill.
• Assist in maintaining inventory by labeling, tracking and replacing key ingredients.
• Prepare meat and vegetables by slicing, cutting, shredding, and tenderizing as needed.
• Communicate with the head chef and wait staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
• Comply with food and health regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a workstation that is clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with the restaurant manager about kitchen supplies and upgrades needed.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
• Follow executive or sous chef’s instructions.
• Clean up station and manage leftovers.
• Stock inventory appropriately.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
