Job summary

You will enable reporting and dashboards for internal and external publication on the Open Data Portal, collaborating with City departments and technology teams to provide clear, data-driven insights to leaders.

The role emphasizes business intuition, use of analytical tools, and strong collaboration across City teams to inform decisions and drive improvements for urban projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• Two years of experience in Database Management Systems (DMS) required.
• Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Leverage data from a variety of sources to analyze business performance and deliver actionable insights to City leaders.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify initiatives and coordinate with analytics teams to deliver sustainable solutions.
• Prepare items for the Open Data Portal with proper design, functionality, and metadata.
• Create performance dashboards for City departments to monitor KPIs and goals.
• Test data and applications to validate data accuracy and quality.
