Job summary

Vector Media is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for out-of-home and transit advertising across Connecticut, including Berlin, Hartford, East Hartford, and surrounding areas. You will supervise operations staff and subcontractors, coordinate installation, maintenance and removal of advertising copy, and work closely with sales and external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing a team or department.
• Experience in Out-of-Home/Transit Advertising operations (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, coordinate and support local operations staff and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with department leadership and with sales teams across the organization.
• Travel to and from worksites throughout the market.
• Manage and assist with the installation, maintenance and removal of advertising graphics, including graphics on buses, bus shelters and stations.
• Ensure advertising graphics are installed and removed according to company standards, including regularly reviewing installations via photos and in person.
• Keep detailed records of all advertising operations including installation and removal of copy.
• Receive, check in and store advertising materials.
• Communicate and work with inventory management to ensure accurate holds, postings and removals.
• Provide detailed campaign and market updates and reports to stakeholders.
• Perform regular audits of all advertising displays and fixtures to identify and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote positive team culture.
• Meet productivity standards, deadlines, and develop strong cross-department relationships.
