Job summary

Edgewood Properties, Inc. is seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the Yardi ERP implementation and support other IT/EP initiatives from Edgewood's headquarters in Piscataway, NJ.

The role requires 5+ years of structured, milestone-driven project management experience, with PMP or similar certification a plus. It is a fixed-term, on-site engagement expected to run 8–10 months, with potential extension for additional IT initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience; PMP or similar certification a plus but not required.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ability to manage more than one project or initiative simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Available to commit for the full duration of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the master project plan and schedule using milestone/Gantt-based planning.
• Serve as Edgewood's accountable day-to-day project lead on the Yardi implementation and other IT initiatives.
• Prepare and run stage-gate reviews with formal go/no-go decisions at each phase transition.
• Support user acceptance testing coordination, training rollout logistics, and go-live planning.
• Coordinate between internal stakeholders, Yardi's services team, and third-party partners.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Maintain the risk/issue log and drive resolution or escalation of blockers.
• Track project budget against actuals across vendor contracts and costs.
