Job summary

Bellingham Marine is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction activities for the West Division, coordinating with project teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will mentor engineers, review drawings, and manage procurement and contractor relations while traveling as needed to on-site locations. This role emphasizes safety, schedule adherence, and clear communication with customers and inspectors to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or 4–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manages Customer and project expectations and approvals through project documentation, meeting minutes and submittals.
• Manages multiple manufacturing and construction projects at any given time.
• Mentors and instructs Project Engineers in Bellingham Marine procedures and standards.
• Studies and reviews drawings and specifications to plan procedures for construction.
• Prepares and submits to the Project Manager reports on progress, materials used, and costs; adjusts work schedules as needed.
• Coordinates with customers, engineers and inspectors for the generation and submission of applications for payment.
• Maintains project documentation recording contract changes, change orders, disputes, and authorization for additional work.
