Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking an experienced on-site engineering leader to plan, coordinate and manage marine construction activities. Projects span 3 to 24 months across bay area locations, including bulk cargo wharves, piers, offshore structures, and dredging.

The role requires a B.S. in a technical field and at least 5 years in construction management or civil engineering, with experience in marine projects preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a technical area of study (civil, coastal, ocean, mechanical, or construction management).
• Minimum 5 years of construction management or civil engineering experience.
• Experience in marine, structures, heavy lifts, or concrete construction preferred.
• Experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage onsite engineering activities for marine construction projects.
• Prepare project work plans, JSAs, and pay estimates.
• Conduct critical path scheduling and baseline schedules; monitor costs and production.
• Supervise field engineers and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and permits.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders; maintain project files and reporting.
