Job summary

HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is seeking a Program Manager I - Fitness to lead an onsite wellness program at a premier client site in Livonia, MI. The role focuses on fitness, wellness leadership, and delivering engaging experiences that inspire healthier lives.

You will supervise staff, manage contract requirements, and drive participation through innovative programs and events, shaping outcomes and value for the client.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic fitness center operation by overseeing all aspects of a thriving onsite wellness program while delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Drive participation and results through onsite and virtual fitness and wellness programs that motivate individuals to achieve their health goals.
• Shape the program's success by ensuring contract compliance, managing key performance metrics, and developing outcome-focused reports.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire your team through staff supervision, training, professional development, and ongoing leadership support.
• Design and deliver engaging wellness initiatives including fitness programs, challenges, workshops, and special events that encourage participation and healthy lifestyles.
• Make a direct impact on members' wellness journeys by providing fitness assessments, exercise prescriptions, facility orientations, and expert fitness guidance.
• Lead group fitness experiences and individual training sessions that energize participants and help them reach their personal goals.
• Create a welcoming and motivating environment by providing floor supervision, building strong member relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Support strategic growth and operational excellence through business planning, program management, and day-to-day administrative oversight.
