Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to develop, manage and promote employee wellness programs at a client site near New Braunfels, Texas. You will plan fitness classes, biometric screenings, wellness challenges, health education campaigns and community partnerships to expand offerings.

Strong communication, project management and analytic skills are essential for improving population health outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in health education, wellness coaching, care management, population health, community health, or a related health-focused role.
• 1-2 years of experience educating and coaching individuals on health improvement strategies, preventive care, chronic condition management, and healthy lifestyle behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with establishing, implementing, and evaluating wellness programs designed to improve outcomes across the employee population.
• Inform population-level strategies and decisions with in-depth health and wellness knowledge.
• Analyze health and risk data to identify trends and opportunities for targeted wellness programming.
• Develop population-based wellness strategies informed by data and organizational priorities.
• Monitor participation and health indicators; adjust programs as needed.
• Provide guidance to junior colleagues on population health approaches and program delivery.
• Provide member-level health coaching to support individual wellness goals.
