Job summary

Weir in Covington, KY seeks an experienced Welder for onsite, full-time Day Shift. You will perform welding operations, fabricate and repair heavy mining equipment, and interpret blueprints and sketches daily.

You will work with a safety-focused team to deliver high-quality results and support operations across our sites. The role requires 2 years of welding experience, ability to read blueprints, and the capacity to work independently or with others in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of proven welding and fabrication experience, especially in repairing heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and charts accurately.
• Strong capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Welding operations: join metal parts per work orders and blueprints with precision.
• Equipment repair and fabrication: repair/modify heavy mining equipment components to restore function.
• Blueprint interpretation: read blueprints and sketches to guide welding tasks.
