Job summary

Weir in Covington, KY seeks a Welder to perform welding, cutting, grinding and fabrication on heavy mining equipment, following blueprints and work orders.

The role requires 2 years of welding experience, ability to interpret drawings, and a strong safety mindset. Overtime Fridays are expected; day shift Mon-Thurs 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 2 years of welding and fabrication experience, with heavy industrial equipment repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and charts.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Experience with Spray Arc Welding and heavy equipment welding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication tasks daily.
• Repair and modify heavy mining equipment components.
• Accurately interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Maintain high workmanship and safety standards.
