Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Resident Project Representative - Water for an on-site role in the Boston area. The candidate will work closely with subcontractors to ensure work aligns with contract drawings, specifications, and CPM schedules, while maintaining safety and quality benchmarks.

The position requires a civil engineering background, strong communication, and the ability to interpret technical requirements and provide timely solutions in a heavy construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; ABET-accredited program preferred or recognized equivalent.
• Pre-employment checks may be required (background, drug screen, driving record).

Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction/interpretation of design drawings and specifications to subcontractors.
• Administers contract requirements and coordinates with Field Subcontract Administrator or Procurement Manager.
• Maintains daily site log and monitors CPM schedule compliance.
• Reviews subcontractor progress payments and RFIs; supports field quality assurance and inspections.
