Job summary

bestlogisticsgroup is seeking an on-site Site Operations Leader for a single-site warehouse in Kernersville, NC. This role owns daily operations, facility maintenance, and workforce leadership, while serving as the main customer-facing representative of the business.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, takes ownership, and drives growth through strong execution and cross-functional partnership with sales and other leaders. 5+ years in facilities/logistics is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities, storage, logistics, and/or site operations.
• Proven experience leading teams in an operational environment.
• Strong working knowledge of forklifts and material handling operations.
• Customer-facing experience with the ability to build trust and credibility.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Well developed technical skills utilizing MS Office suite and ability to use other software/technology as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily storage and site operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and service excellence.
• Lead and manage site personnel including forklift operators, sanitation staff, and general labor.
• Own site safety performance and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the site and build strong relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve utilization, expand services, and drive growth, partnering with Sales on opportunities.
