Job summary

Grainger in Honolulu, HI, seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee Customer Order Fulfillment, Inbound Receiving, Inventory Control and outbound activities. You will direct up to 30 team members and ensure accurate receipt of products, timely order fulfillment, and efficient resource use across the site.

The role reports to the Site Leader and operates Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. until finish, at Grainger’s Market Distribution Center in Honolulu.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience with increasing responsibility in a customer order fulfillment environment.
Ability to lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and possibly up to 75 lbs. may be needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite, SAP and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee Customer Order Fulfillment, Inbound Receiving, Inventory Control and outbound; lead up to 30 team members.
Ensure accurate receipt of product, order fulfillment and optimization of resources and processes for on-time delivery.
Manage processes to ensure compliance and promote programs that engage and empower the team.
Lead continuous improvement using LEAN, DMAIC, Six Sigma tools and programs.
Implement audit systems to ensure compliance with company and governmental regulations.
