W. W. Grainger in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Customer Fulfillment Leader to oversee Customer Order Fulfillment, Inbound Receiving, Inventory Control and outbound, guiding up to 30 team members and ensuring accurate receipt and on-time fulfillment.

You will report to Site Leader and manage processes to empower staff and improve operations. The role drives continuous improvement with LEAN/Six Sigma methods, supports safety compliance, and ensures a productive, engaged workforce in a Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience in a customer order fulfillment environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and possibly up to 75 lbs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP, and warehouse management systems.

Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $67,300.00 – $112,200.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 5 %, based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

You will oversee Customer Order Fulfillment, Inbound Receiving, inventory Control and outbound. You will provide direct leadership to up to 30 team members. You will ensure accurate receipt of product, order fulfillment and the optimization of resources and processes to provide customers with the products they need on time. You will manage processes to ensure compliance, implement improvements and promote programs that create an environment where team members are engaged and empowered.

You will report to Mgr, Site Leader and this role is based in our Honolulu, HI Market Distribution Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday working 8:00 a.m. until finished.

You Will:

• Use production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial, and other important data to analyze performance and identify process variations or exceptions resulting in lower‑than‑expected performance and communicate issues to leadership team.


• Support Distribution Center wide projects and help ensure all deliverables (e.g. action items, process improvements) are completed by the commitment date.


• Create a dynamic workplace that effects positive employee relationships by developing employee engagement and recognition programs and ensuring all employees are treated fairly, with respect, and have the tools necessary to perform their jobs.


• Manage the development process for non‑exempt direct reports which may include training, supporting development goals, provide feedback, complete performance evaluations, and recognition and disciplinary action.


• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the use LEAN, DMAIC, Six Sigma tools and programs and implement solutions to improve results and operations excellence.


• Emphasize training and implement audit systems to eliminate process variation or discrepancies and to ensure compliance with Company, and other governmental agencies (e.g. OSHA, DOT, and EPA).

You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.


• 2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience with increasing responsibility in a customer order fulfillment environment.


• Ability to lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and possibly up to 75 lbs. may be needed.


• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, SAP and warehouse management systems.
